What is a Chromebook?
A Chromebook is a device for accessing the internet. This may seem limiting, but today with so many cloud (internet) based programs, people can do many of the same things they can do with a traditional laptop. Using the Chrome browser, students can access the Google Suite of products which is similar to Microsoft Office, allowing them to write reports, make presentations, and more. Also, with access to the internet, students can do research and access teacher assigned content on Schoology, as well as work on the content and return it to the teacher. The technology enhances teaching and learning through increased efficiency, preparing students for the future, and by providing options previously unimagined for learning.
